Barking at Bubbles
I have grandparents! Hallie’s parents came to visit the family this past weekend. It was a lot of fun. They live in Las Vegas, but they didn’t really seem like Las Vegas types (whatever that is). They did not seem to like the cold weather. I’m not sure what they didn’t like about the cold, at least they had jackets, scarves, mittens and shoes. What about me, I never wear snow clothes and you don’t hear me complaining? (Well actually you do hear me complaining quite a bit.)
Hallie’s mom is Bubbles and her dad is Zayde Al. I really kept everyone on their toes, because I kept barking at them. I just don’t get these humans sometimes. Dogs like attention. Dogs like humans to play with them. Dogs like humans to pet them. This is not rocket science. I had to keep barking at them because they were not paying enough attention to me. They spent alot of time with Lil Joe and My G and they kept giving Hallie hugs and kisses. They sat at the table talking to B and sipping tea and eating cookies. True, they did give me lots of treats if I would sit and stay, but of course, the minute they stopped that game I had to start barking again.
Needless to say, it was quite a noisy weekend, thanks to me. Today after they left, I lounged around the house with B. Actually, I kind of missed having them around because they were so nice to me even though I was such a pain. Being a shelter dog, I realized once again how lucky I am to be a part of such a nice family.
At the beginning of this post is a picture of me and Bubbles. Don’t I look cute?

Isn’t it nice having a gramma and a grampa? You were just voicing your opinion by saying, “Hey…over here…look at me…. Nothing wrong with that.
